During the internship program at BMTI, participants are expected to develop a range of competencies that support their professional growth in clinical research and laboratory fields. The internship includes an introduction to CRO (Contract Research Organization) and its organizational structure, enabling participants to understand the full project workflow.
Participants also learn rodent breeding systems (inbred & outbred) and gain hands-on experience in handling, sexing, weighing, and health checks. In addition, they are trained to prepare breeding records, pairing records, litter records, and cage logs, as well as to analyze facility conditions and biosecurity measures.
In the field of preclinical research, the internship covers an introduction to basic sampling techniques, the use of laboratory equipment, as well as simple data analysis, report writing, publication ethics, evaluation discussions, and the presentation of internship results.
Through this program, BMTI hopes that each participant gains comprehensive practical experience, enhances professional skills, and understands operational standards and ethics in scientific research.
